Grease Traps are devices that sit alongside your septic tank or sewage treatment plant and help manage the filtration of grease, oil and food from your pipes into the tank or plant.

Without a Grease Trap then usually everything waste-wise would go into your tank or plant and this would be one of the major causes to it 'clogging' or congealing very rapidly, as food, oil and grease are harder to break down than sewage waste and so Grease Traps merely detect and collect the food, oil and grease before it can enter your tank or plant.

Of course Grease Traps need emptying on a regular basis too, and we here at Bates Environmental can do just that for you, in much a similar way as how we already empty your tank/plant currently!
